I have been playing live music for almost 30 years.  I started across the country in Massachusetts, then moved to California, and now I’ve settled in Washington.  I graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2003 and have been on the West Coast, playing in many different musical projects, over the last 20 years.

These days I love playing my acoustic guitar and singing songs ranging from the 1950s to today. The goal is to put a little bit of myself into the cover songs & make them my own. I truly love rock music. Growing up as a child in the 80s and 90s, I pull the majority of my set list material from those eras. My catalog is currently over 175 songs and growing.

JP Valentine started as a full band playing cover songs, weekly, in a Santa Monica bar.  But, having moved up to Washington, I decided to venture off on my own, doing something I had never done before, play SOLO!!   I was lucky enough to get my start at Redmond’s Bar & Grill, building my catalog and confidence as a lone musician, and the rest is history.

I’m a one-man band ready to help your establishment make that money with my charming charisma and bringing the appropriate ambiance! If I rock out at your place I promise to 1. Be good & 2. Entertain!

Bars, breweries, restaurants, festivals, private events, weddings, etc. I am versatile; I can be the center of attention or merely in the background depending on the style you desire for the performance.
